Adventures in the Guadalupe!

Couldn't wait to get back to share my pictures & memories from my fun weekend. Yesterday Daddy, Mommy & I went to Kerrville, TX for a picnic with folks from Daddy's office. There were lots of kids and other babies there so I made lots of friends. Probably the neatest thing was I got to wear my bathing suit & "swim" in the Guadalupe River. Today I was pretty tired from all the activities so I napped alot.

Relax & Enjoy

This week was nice because we did not have any meetings, business trips, social events etc. The last couple of months have been so busy! Next week should be pretty chill as well which is a good thing because I think Mommy & Daddy are tired. At least I know it's not my fault they don't get enough sleep--I'm a good girl & sleep through the night! I attached some shots of some funny moments from the past week entitled "sweet potato surprise" and "new sleep position" Enjoy!

Ladies & Gents, Take your seats

Hey Everyone! Guess what? I'm starting to get the hang of that sitting up thing. It's pretty nice not to just look at the floor or ceiling. What I really want to do is stand, but my legs are still a bit too wobbly. I've also sampled a couple new foods since last I posted: bananas & peas. I think I liked the peas better between the two.

D is for Diamond

We received some very exciting news this past weekend: Uncle Brandon & Erica got engaged! He proposed on a gondola boat in Venice. Mommy told me it is one of the most romantic places in the world. I get to be the flower girl which is great because I've never been a flower girl before. I have to work real hard on learning to walk between now & next year. Maybe they'll let me wear these cool italian Nike sneakers with my flower girl dress!

Mommy, Daddy, Maddie, Forever!

Oops-- I think the saying is Stars & Stripes forever. What I'm really trying to say is Happy Independence Day!
I am six months old now, so Mommy & Daddy are expanding my culinary boundaries with some rice cereal. Other than that, just doing my best to be irresistably huggable at all times.
